If it rallies today it'll be interesting to see where it lands on Fox's homepage.

They track a five day moving average so that smooths out the big swings.

@jon-nyc Agree. I dont know if you have seen/heard of his show "Curb Your Enthusiasm". I think it is quite funny. I have watched a lot of episodes on airplanes and have to stop from laughing out loud when I watch. LOL

I’ve only done 2. Toured Mexico City and stood among redwoods. But then my vacations typically aren’t very outdoorsy unless beaches count. I regularly bike parts of the Empire trail, but have probably only covered 50-60m of it in total. And not hiking.

@Klaus There is no real mentioning. But they do require an adress where you're staying your first night. Maybe that was unclear? BTW, my experience with US customs and immigration never was agreeable...

It’s like they just hired a bunch of maga fanbois to run all the government’s social media accounts. Next up, NASA retweets a catturd call for dissolving the Supreme Court.

Pfffttt ... Conservatories still teach music students to listen to each other while playing in ensembles. Maybe they should train with click tracks.

@jon-nyc said in SCOTUS: Yep. Alito is going to issue a statement. If I read correctly, he did not necessary disagree with the decision, but more the timing. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/alito-blasts-unprecedented-scotus-move-halt-trumps-venezuelan-deportations-legally-questionable Alito disapproved of the timing of the decision, which he described as being "literally in the middle of the night." "[T]he Court issued unprecedented and legally questionable relief without giving the lower courts a chance to rule, without hearing from the opposing party, within eight hours of receiving the application, with dubious factual support for its order, and without providing any explanation for its order," Alito wrote. The justice, who has served on the court since 2006, was joined by Justice Clarence Thomas in his dissent. "I refused to join the Court’s order because we had no good reason to think that, under the circumstances, issuing an order at midnight was necessary or appropriate," Alito continued. "Both the Executive and the Judiciary have an obligation to follow the law. The Executive must proceed under the terms of our order in Trump v. J. G. G., 604 U. S. ___ (2025) (per curiam), and this Court should follow established procedures."
